Recycle Swop Shop 7th July 2011
We had a bumper day at the Recycle Swop Shop! Lots of happy children with warm clothes and winter shoes. The mum’s are also seeing the value in recycling and are coming with their children to help carry ALL the bags!We collected about another 90 bags of recycling today.
Jonathan and I did a few pick ups on our way to Du Noon and collected bags of clothes and blankets from Tanja, Bloubergrant Pre-Primary School and school clothes and hand made teddy bears from Life Changers Church.
Elkanah Recycling Committee, Colleen and Eldri visited us today and donated over 20 blankets, 40 boxes of soya mince, 40 bags of samp and lots of tooth paste, tooth brushes and soap. Whow! Thank you so much. Your support has been incredible. Elkanah Recycling Committee also pick up our recycling and transport it down to the High School on Wednesday morning. Thank you again.
Thank you once again to Pick n Pay Table View for the rolls and fruit that we handed out to all those that brought Recycling.
Our amazing volunteers Sanazu, Kim and Sarah were there helping the kids and making peanut butter sandwiches! Ladies, we couldn’t do it without you.
